Enjoy a private romantic tour of the estate in our Horse and Carriage or our Pony and Trap. Tours take place within the 220 beautiful acres of grounds that surround Capella Castlemartyr and are a great way to see the estate. Roy Daley, our Grounds man has a long connection with the estate and can show our guests another aspect of Castlemartyr. Roy will point out particular points of interest and answer any questions that you may have.
There is a charge of €20 per tour which goes towards the up keep of our horses, ponies and donkeys. Tours can be booked directly with our Personal Assistants.
Our horse-drawn carriage is at the disposal of our guests between 1400 and 1600 Wednesdays through Sundays. Our beautiful horse drawn carriage can take 4 guests at one time. Whilst our Pony and Trap, operational during the summer months between 10.30 to 11.30, can take 3 guests at one time.
